MAZDA Service Checklist

Mazda Service

Regular Mazda service is essential for getting the most out of your car, and Sansone Mazda has just what your vehicle needs. Mazda automobiles are synonymous with exceptional comfort, performance, and reliability, and with consistent service you’ll ensure these characteristics are never compromised.

Why MAZDA Service is Important

If you neglect regular service and genuine Mazda parts replacements when your vehicle needs them, you’re asking for trouble. By “regular service”, we mean timely oil changes, tire rotations, and battery tests, as well as brake checks, engine inspections, and general tune-ups. In other words, all of the things that are important to your car’s safety and performance.

MAZDA Service Checklist

When your Mazda3 Sedan or Mazda CX-90 needs service, set a course for our Mazda dealership in Woodbridge, NJ. Here, a team of factory-trained and certified service technicians will inspect your vehicle from front to back and alert you to any issues.

Before we undertake any work, a service advisor will meet with you to discuss your vehicle’s needs. This advisor will also discuss how many of your car’s maintenance needs are associated with different mileage counts. The following checklist illustrates this fact:

  • Tires: Rotate and align every 6,000 - 8,000 miles. Every 40,000 - 45,000 miles, your car will need new tires.
  • Oil: You need a Mazda oil change around every 5,000 - 7,500 miles, depending on vehicle age, driving frequency, and type of oil.
  • Engine filter/oil filter: Replace these filters when they are dirty. The exact frequency depends on how often you drive, the season, and the type of roads you typically drive on.
  • Fluids: These are checked and topped off (if needed) at every service visit. The Sansone Mazda service team will also check for leaks, and repair any they find.
  • Belts: The serpentine belt and timing belt are integral to the performance of your car’s engine and its supporting components. These belts are checked regularly for cracks and tears, and replaced around every 50,000 miles and 60,000 miles, respectively.
