30 years ago, the Mazda MX-5 Miata first debuted at the Chicago Auto Show. Now, just days before Valentine’s Day, the romantic two-seater has debuted a special 30th Anniversary Edition at the very same place.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition convertible sports car offers three trim levels: Sport, Club, and Grand Touring. It optimizes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. Safety features abound, including Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane-Departure Warning, Back Up Camera, and Blind-Spot Monitoring.

The convertible option includes a soft top or retractable fastback option, each with different transmission choices. There’s a new unique wheel design in a dark gunmetal color and a special new exterior paint color option: Racing Orange. The same rustic orange color is accented on the brake calipers, seating, doors, dashboard, and shifter.

The new model features an infotainment system with MAZDA CONNECT™ to keep you connected to everything you need. The system includes options for navigation and internet streaming radio, as well as standard Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. Additional amenities are Bluetooth® and USB connectivity, as well as a premium Bose® stereo system.

Most of these options are exclusive to the 30th Anniversary Edition, so it doesn’t allow for the pick-and-choose features like in a normal Mazda MX-5 Miata from Sansone Mazda.
