We know that once you finally choose the car of your dreams, the last thing you want to do is wait to get it. We get customers all the time coming in claiming, “This is the one!” But, we stress getting out on the road in it first. And, even trying out a few more “ones” too.

Even if you’ve carefully reviewed our new Mazda vehicles online, we still suggest test driving at least three different models. After all, online filters usually restrict you to models, styles, fuel efficiency, and price. And, while those are all very important, we also recommend adding in safety and technology features too.

Oftentimes, people don’t even realize how advanced driver-assist technologies have become and how useful they can be in everyday commutes. We recommend our customers try out different options during their test drives. Maybe your parking skills could benefit from a backup camera. Or, perhaps adaptive cruise control would be really useful during those long weekend road trips.

Plus, you want to make sure you feel comfortable driving your new car or SUV, which you can’t determine simply by looking. Maybe your new Mazda SUV is bigger than you realized, and you feel more comfortable parking a Mazda3 sedan. Or, perhaps you realize your kids could really use that extra row in the Mazda CX-9 to give them more space.

Stop by our Mazda dealership near Staten Island, NY to take a few test drives. You can see us at 90-100 US Highway 1 North in Avenel, NJ. We’re open Monday through Friday 9a-9p and Saturdays 9a-7p. Call our sales team at 888-701-7393 to schedule a test drive or just stop on by. We’re anxious to see what you pick!

There have been peeks of the all-new Mazda3 over the last couple months, and we are so excited to share details on the long-awaited reveal here at Sansone Mazda.

The 2019 Mazda3 is reportedly “all new,” and it will utilize multiple engine options at its launch; it’s speculated that it will add the innovative Skyactiv-X option later in the year, which drastically reduces the car’s emissions. Skyactiv-X technology burns gasoline, but uses a diesel-style compression ignition. The Mazda3 is incredibly efficient too. Available i-ACTIV AWD® keeps utilizes rear-wheel power when traction is needed, or the fuel-efficient front-wheel drive when it doesn’t.

There are also major technology advancements in this new Mazda. The MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system is easily accessible via the 8.8-inch screen display. The i-ACTIVSENSE® system includes driver-assist technologies that monitor your attentiveness and alert you when you are driving drowsily and when vehicles are crossing in front of you or approaching from the side. Plus, automatic cruise control can even drive semi-autonomously in stop-and-go traffic and help with lane centering.

Make sure you’re prepared when the 2019 Mazda3 hits showrooms. Speak with our Mazda finance center serving Edison, NJ to check your financial standing as soon as today. We can help make sure you’re qualified, determine your monthly car payments, and see what you need to plan for a down payment. Feel free to get an estimate on your trade-in too!

Planning some big changes for 2019? Maybe you’re thinking about upgrading your vehicle? Before you start trading in your car just yet, take a look at your current one. Could it use just a little help to make it the car of your dreams? After all, regular maintenance is a crucial part of car ownership.

Your vehicle should receive at least two regular maintenance check-ups from Sansone Mazda each year. We’ll change your oil and filter, as well as check your tires, battery, and other fluid levels in our Mazda service center. Any time you are driving your car with one of its components compromised, such as a faulty battery or low oil, you could be doing major permanent damage to your car.

While most people don’t think of it first, proper tire care is also incredibly important. In fact, studies show the importance of tires and how good traction and tread play a crucial role in your vehicle’s performance. We’ve all seen the results of an improperly inflated tire on the sides of the road. Plus, who wants to get stuck stranded when they are in a time crunch?

Ready to buy now? Great! A good first step is filling out a credit application to see where you stand in terms of financing. Then, it’s time to start doing your homework! When talk of self-driving vehicles first emerged, people were skeptical. It sounded like a far-fetched idea limited to fantasy movies and superhero stories. However, as technology advanced, it was predicted we would see self-driving vehicles on the road by 2020. While those reports still don’t necessarily ring true, some of the technology needed for these vehicles can already be found in cars everywhere.

The new Mazda models are no exception. Features vary, depending on which vehicle you purchase and what options you elect to include. Be sure to ask our sales team about the specific systems you need. Options include, but are not limited to

Lane Keeping Assist – Gently steers you back into your lane if you’ve begun to drift out of it

Automatic Parallel Parking – Automatically steers your vehicle into a parking space, but does not brake or automatically shift gears for you

Drowsiness Alert – Signals you with a coffee cup light on your dashboard that you may be driving drowsily or distractedly and need to take a break

Adaptive Cruise Control – Automatically keeps your vehicle within a safe distance of the car in front of you, including slowing down, speeding up, and braking, in some instances

Forward Collision Warning – Alerts you when you are getting too close to an object or vehicle ahead to help avoid a collision

Visit our Mazda dealership near Woodbridge, NJ at 90-100 US Highway 1 North for a test drive to experience these cutting-edge systems in person. After all, the best way to check out all of this new technology is to try it for yourself. We’re open Monday through Friday from 9a-9p and until 7p on Saturdays. We’re closed on Sundays. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

Have you been shopping for new Mazda models and finally found the one of your dreams? Once you’ve signed on the dotted line, the next order of business is insurance.

Auto insurance has a lot of different layers and components, and honestly, it can be super confusing. What type do you need? How much coverage is necessary? How do you get it? We recommend reaching out to an insurance agent with questions. We also have another recommendation: consider gap insurance.

Gap insurance is a safeguard to protect you in case your car is involved in a total loss, be it a major wreck, theft, or just a freak accident. If you wreck your vehicle, your insurance company (or the company of the driver at fault) will give you a check for the total value of your vehicle. Nothing to worry about, right?

Wrong.

What happens if you owe more on your vehicle than it’s actually worth? For example, say you took advantage of an amazing Mazda lease special. A lease can be very beneficial in terms of low monthly payments and affordably getting into a new model. However, a leased vehicle also needs gap insurance. A leased vehicle will always be worth more than you are paying on it because you are making such low monthly payments. This also comes into play if you finance a new car with a low down payment or over an extended period of time.

Gap insurance covers the difference between what your vehicle is worth and the amount you still owe on it. We know this whole premise can seem confusing, which is why we’re more than happy to help. If you have any additional questions, be sure to reach out! You can visit our Mazda dealership near Staten Island, NY to find out more. And, of course, to get into your own new Mazda vehicle.

The 2018 Mazda CX-5 boasts an incredible array of standard and available safety features, bringing peace of mind to your experience behind the wheel.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert comes standard, giving you eyes in the back of your head. When you put your Mazda CX-5 in reverse, the system keeps an eye out for vehicles approaching from the side, providing you with an alert on the back-up monitor and side-view mirrors if it detects one. Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring works in a similar fashion when you’re in drive. If a car is cruising in your blind spot, the system will let you know. It also keeps an eye out for fast-approaching vehicles that will soon be in your blind spot.

Smart City Brake Support keeps a watchful eye on the road ahead when you’re traveling at slow speeds. If the system detects an imminent impact, it will adjust the brake pads closer to the disc to enable faster braking. If you’re unable to hit the brakes, the system can hit them for you. Smart Brake Support provides a similar functionality at speeds greater than 10 mph.

The Lane Departure Warning System provides reassurance on long highway drives. If you’re traveling at speeds of 37 mph or higher and the system detects that you’re unintentionally drifting out of your lane, it will trigger an alert to get your attention. If you don’t heed the warning, Lane-Keep Assist has got you covered. It can enact minor steering corrections in order to re-center your Mazda CX-5 in your current lane.

Edmunds has heaped plenty of praise on the 2018 Mazda CX-5, saying that “It has a refined and upscale nature, plenty of technology and safety features, and excellent utility.”

Many of these features are available in other Mazda models available here at Sansone Mazda. Head in today to learn more about our full selection of Mazda models. And don’t forget to ask about the many Mazda offers available here at our Mazda dealership near Staten Island, NY.

You’ve been driving around happily for years when all of a sudden you realize, “Hey, wait a minute, my lease is almost up!” So just what do you next? Well, you’ve got a few options.

First, do you want a new car, or do you want to keep your current car? Maybe you’re in love with your current ride—you’ve given it a name and everything—and you don’t want to turn it in. Or maybe you’ve just blown past those mileage limits set in the terms of your original lease agreement and you’re not particularly thrilled by the prospect of paying mileage overage fees. Either way, the Mazda finance center at Sansone Mazda is here to help you through the process.

By the way, did you know that you can actually sell your leased vehicle? Know what else? You can sell it to a dealership other than the dealership you leased it from. You’d want to do this if you could find a dealer who will pay more than what you owe. In that case, the dealer pays the leasing company, then sends you a check for anything over and above what you owe.

If you’re looking to simply trade in your current ride and drive home with a new lease and a new car, there are a few things you’ll want to have in order. Make sure you’ve got anything and everything that came with the car, such as the owners manual and any keys, as well as accessories like the floor mats.

And before trade-in day, we encourage you to head in to our local Mazda dealership and get acquainted with the options available to you for your next lease. A great place to start your search is the 2019 Mazda CX-3. U.S. News & World Report had this to say about the sporty SUV: “The 2019 Mazda CX-3 ranks near the top of the subcompact SUV class because it offers arguably the sportiest performance in the class, as well as a handsome cabin lined with premium materials.” Contact us today to learn more!

It seems this phenomenon is not unique to our dealership. In their 2019 Mazda CX-9 review, Edmunds mentions that “The 2019 Mazda CX-9 is one of the highest-rated vehicles on Edmunds.” So just what has everyone so excited?

First and foremost, there’s a feeling of connection that’s hard to top. Incredible driving dynamics keep you connected to the road in a way that you can feel behind the wheel. In every trim level, incredible amounts of time and attention have gone into combating road noise. Sound-dampening materials have been added strategically throughout the cabin to keep outside noise out so you can hear yourself think, or simply listen to your favorite songs and appreciate every note.

It’s November, which means your holiday to-do list has materialized, seemingly out of thin air, and it’s about ten times longer than you remember it being last year. We’ve got something else to add to the list, right at the top. But take care of it, and you can drive to complete all your other tasks with peace of mind. So just what is it we’d like you to do? Schedule a trip to the Sansone Mazda service center to winterize your vehicle.

We’ll look your Mazda vehicle over from top to bottom and let you know what it needs to properly handle the winter weather around Edison, NJ.

First, the basics. Make sure all lights are in working order and that your fluids are full and properly calibrated. That means the right ratio of antifreeze to water in your coolant, thinner oil to flow properly in cold temperatures, and freeze-resistant wiper fluid to keep your windshield clear. We’ll make sure your wipers aren’t braking down either, and may suggest thicker winter wipers.

Then it’s on to the brakes and battery. We really want to make sure your battery is in top shape, as battery capacity takes a hit when the temperatures drop—and nobody needs to be in a snow-covered parking lot with a car that won’t start. For any parts you need, you can take advantage of our Mazda parts special to save 10 percent.

When was the last time you checked the tread on your tires? Don’t worry, we’ve got that covered too. You may want to consider investing in snow tires. With extra-thick tread patterns, siping (small cuts in the treads) to increase surface area and boost traction, and a rubber compound specially formulated to roll with Old Man Winter’s punches, snow tires provide surer footing in winter weather.

While we’re taking a look at your car, make a list of everything you want to include in a winter preparedness kit to be kept in your car just in case. Our Mazda dealers serving Woodbridge, NJ look forward to helping you soon!

In their 2018 Mazda3 review, Car and Driver praises the vehicle’s “winning formula,” highlighting its emphasis on “sharp looks, a near-premium interior, and sublime driving dynamics.”

When it comes to “sharp design,” the 2018 Mazda3 is in a class of its own, thanks to the Mazda brand’s emphasis on KODO, or “Soul of Motion.” This is the driving inspiration behind each and every Mazda vehicle. In emphasizing KODO, the Mazda designers seek to imbue each Mazda model with a sense of motion, even when the car is standing still. You can see that sense of motion on full display in the sleek, linear contours of the 2018 Mazda3.

To arrive at the designs we see on our dealership lot near Union, NJ, the Mazda design team engages in an “Exploratory Preparation” process. The team experiments with different forms, all by hand, seeking to take inspiration from the natural world and apply it to the Mazda vehicle fleet.

This dedication and attention to detail extend inside the car as well. The interior design team works to create a feeling of enveloping comfort, positioning every feature so that it’s intuitive and pleasing to interact with. Their efforts are why you feel so at ease as soon as you sit down in the contoured sport seats of the 2018 Mazda3.

Of course, a car’s true value comes in how satisfying it is to drive, not just look at. And in this regard, the 2018 Mazda3 at our Mazda dealership serving Staten Island, NY pulls no punches. SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY, like SKYACTIV®-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control, enhances driving dynamics, boosts efficiency, and decreases fatigue for drivers and passengers alike. It’s truly a pleasure to drive.

This refined and fluid driving experience isn’t new to the 2018 Mazda3. It’s been a hallmark of the Mazda sedan for years now, which is why we’re proud to offer this stunning vehicle for our customers. Head to Sansone Mazda today for a test drive.
