The award-winning Mazda CX-5 also made headlines. You wouldn’t think this top-performing crossover SUV could get any more popular, but then it goes out and has its best June ever. Close to 13,000 models sold, a 33 percent increase over last June. Even more impressively, Mazda CX-5 sales are up almost 42 percent year-to-date (YTD). For style, functionality, safety, and excitement, few SUVs measure up to a Mazda CX-5 near Woodbridge, NJ.
What about the Mazda CX-9, you ask? No worries: this seven-passenger midsize crossover SUV, a popular pick for families nationwide, came this close to breaking its existing June sales record. Its YOY sales stand at a healthy 40.1 percent and its YTD sales are up almost 20 percent from 2017.
In total, the Mazda SUV line sold more than 17,400 vehicles in June 2018, which is up nearly 35 percent from last year. Phenomenal numbers to be sure, but not surprising to any Mazda brand devotee.
