Mazda CX-5 Lease

Buying a Mazda CX-5 may be great, but there are plenty of drivers who’d rather sign a Mazda CX-5 lease. If you’re curious about leasing, we’ve got the answers to all of your questions at Sansone Mazda.

What’s the Difference Between Leasing and Buying?

Some of our customers who are interested in leasing are often curious about the difference between leasing and buying. While both involve you driving home in a brand new model like the 2020 Mazda CX-5, they are quite different in nature.

When you sign a lease, you’re agreeing to be the vehicle’s temporary owner with the assumption that you’ll bring the car back to the dealer or resign at the end of the lease. As a result, auto leases are often cheaper per month than auto loans. On top of that, you’ll get the chance to sign another new auto lease after the first one runs its term.

Things to Note When Leasing

Auto leases are also different in that some come with conditions of how you’re expected to treat the vehicle. Many auto lease agreements come with mileage limits, for instance. These mileage caps can determine how many miles you’re able to put on the car, and should you exceed that limit you may be expected to pay additional fees.

Auto leases also don’t allow for customization and mods, as you’ll have to return the vehicle to the dealer. All that being said, when leasing you don’t have to worry about servicing and maintenance as nearly all procedures are generally covered by the dealership.
