Engine Comparisons

This crossover SUV comes in five trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature. The first three trims have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that gets 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque while being paired with front-wheel drive. The Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trims have the same engine but turbocharged, so it gets 227 horsepower, or 250 when using premium fuel. These two trims also come with all-wheel drive as well.

Special Features

The base-level Mazda CX-5 Sport has many impressive features, including a seven-inch touchscreen, push-button start, and LED headlights. Next up is the Touring trim, which adds Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity, keyless entry, and heated front seats, just to name a few.
